The Polish striker has been in the best form of his career and he is the overwhelming favorite to win the award this year. However, this might be the first time in a while where the most valuable player isn’t Messi or Cristiano. The vast majority of voters might opt to choose the Bayern Munich star after his incredible year.
Regardless of who wins this award, Cristiano is still one of the most relevant players in the world despite his age. During the current season, he is still delivering solid performances like last week’s against FC Barcelona. Camp Nou Stadium will never forget they suffered a player who made this pitch his personal garden for many years.
