On the day of his presentation, Brahim Diaz showed his utter love and respect for AC Milan and declared himself ready for this challenge.

Out of all the AC Milan players who can help the club grow, Brahim Diaz is right at the top next to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It’s not a coincidence that Stefano Pioli decided to offer him the number 10 jersey for his second spell on a loan from Real Madrid. Brahim knows the huge responsibility this entails and he decided to embrace it. As one of the most successful football clubs in European history, the Rossoneri need players of Brahim’s level in order to get back to those days of glory.

Brahim knows exactly where the club stands and he wants to honor the trust deposited in his talents by offering the best level of performance he has. Also, Brahim is aware of the heavy burden that comes with the jersey number he got. Players like Clarence Seedorf or Rui Costa already wore this same number that made history several times in previous years.

Brahim puts all his trust in Pioli as a manager.

On his first major interview during this new stage at AC Milan, this is what Diaz told AC Milan’s website: “I am very happy for everything we did last year. But now a new season begins in which we will give our best: these colors deserve me to give 100% and that’s what I will do. I’ll give my all to show my talent and I’ll give my blood, sweat and tears for this great club. I’ll fight to make it a great season. I’ve learned how important Milan are and this season I hope to have an even better season.

“Last season was great, but this is a new season. Milan deserves a team worthy of the club. I am confident we are all ready to do our best and achieve great things. Our success was thanks to coach Pioli. He created a good team from the experienced players and young players who are growing. We have all learned a lot from the coach, he taught me a lot. Under his guidance, last season we had a good season. Now we must improve and in the coach’s hands, we certainly will.”
