As the summer keeps taking turns in the transfer market, AC Milan just confirmed they are getting a Real Madrid star on a loan.

It appears AC Milan loves having this Real Madrid young star on their ranks as they just confirmed a two-season loan. Brahim Diaz was already a Rossoneri player last season but he finished serving his first loan deal on June 30. Throughout the previous campaign, he became one of the club’s most important players to the point where Paolo Maldini offered him more years. Currently, Real Madrid refused to sell him because they are hoping he can become one of the world’s best midfielders over the next couple of seasons.

He made the decision to stay on a loan but Los Blancos have a buying option if they eventually decide to sell him anywhere. Before the announcement, it was reported that Florentino Perez agreed to sell Brahim at the end of the loan. However, this agreement wasn’t reached because the Spanish club considers Brahim a key man in the institution’s future. The idea is for him to keep growing as a player at a club where he will get more playing time than he would at Real Madrid.

Ancelotti loves Brahim Diaz.

One of the managers who absolutely loves Brahim Diaz is Carlo Ancelotti, who also coached AC Milan in the past. ‘Carletto’ was happy to know that the youngster will remain at his beloved Italian club for the next two seasons but he might request his presence in the future. Currently, Los Blancos have a midfielder overbooking that won’t benefit Brahim.

In a surprising turn of events, it has been reported that Brahim will start wearing the number ‘10’ jersey at AC Milan. This is how the club confirmed the news of the transfer via their official website: “AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Brahim Abdelkader Díaz from Real Madrid CF on a temporary basis for two years. The contract ties the football player to the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2023. Brahim, after scoring 7 goals in 39 appearances with AC Milan last season, will continue to be a Rossoneri player, wearing the number 10 jersey.”
