The Blancos claimed a narrow win to continue their winning streak in UCL.

Real Madrid defeated Braga 2-1 in their Champions League match on Tuesday. The hosts put up a fight but weren’t able to escape defeat against Real Madrid.

What happened?

Real Madrid’s efforts to score an early opener paid off when Rodrygo made it 1-0 for the visitors in the 16th minute. The Brazil international converted a smart cutback from Vinicius Junior to put Carlo Ancelotti’s side ahead.

The Blancos, however, rarely managed to create more serious chances during the first half. But soon after the break, they intensified their attacks again.

Jude Bellingham made it 2-0 for Real Madrid with a precise low shot from inside the box. The 61st-minute strike was the English star’s 11th goal for the Blancos across all competitions.

Braga pulled one back through Alvaro Djalo only two minutes later. The hosts made several more attempts to snatch the equalizer, but a few impressive saves from Kepa Arrizabalaga maintained Real Madrid’s lead.
