Real Madrid’s newest superstar signing was quizzed on teaming up with Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu.

New Real Madrid signing Jude Bellingham expressed his desire to play with Kylian Mbappe during his presentation at the club on Thursday.

Bellingham, who has signed a six-year contract, will wear the No. 5 shirt next season. Real Madrid have signed him from Borussia Dortmund. The club will pay BVB an initial transfer fee of €103 million, plus a further €30 million in potential add-ons.

At the Real Madrid City training complex, Bellingham posed for photos and then answered a variety of questions, including the possibility of linking up with Mbappe in the Spanish capital.

“I can’t really comment, I don’t know his situation,” Bellingham said about the rumors. “If anything, my whole saga has taught me that not everything you see is true.

“He’s a great player, whatever he chooses to do, all the best to him. Would I like to play with a player like Kylian Mbappe? Who wouldn’t?”

Links between Mbappe and Real Madrid have resurfaced after the striker told his club, Paris Saint-Germain, that he will not activate an option to extend his contract until 2025, meaning he will become a free agent next – unless PSG chose to sell him this summer.

Bellingham, meanwhile, explained that money was not a factor in his decision to join Real Madrid. He turned down Premier League clubs Manchester City and Liverpool to sign for the 35-time Spanish champions.

The Whites have also signed left-back Fran Garcia and playmaker Brahim Diaz to their squad for the upcoming season. They are also targeting a center forward after Karim Benzema left to join Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad.
