After months of speculation, Real Madrid have finally completed the signing of the highly-rated Jude Bellingham.

Real Madrid have signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund on a six-year deal. They will pay a transfer fee worth €103 million (£88.5m). The cost may eventually rise to €133 million from potential add-ons.

Bellingham, who started his career at Birmingham City, will be presented as a Real Madrid player on Thursday.

The 19-year-old heads to Spain on the back of a stellar three-season spell at Dortmund. He played 132 times for BVB in all competitions, supplying 24 goals and 24 assists. As well as becoming the club’s youngest captain this season, he also won the Bundesliga’s best player award.

Now in Madrid, Bellingham will earn a reported salary between €10-€12 million. The Englishman becomes the third most expensive teenager in history. He is also Real Madrid’s second-most expensive signing after Eden Hazard, who joined the club for €115 million in 2019 from Chelsea.

The only Englishman to coup a larger transfer fee ever is Jack Grealish, who swapped Aston Villa for Manchester City in 2021 for a €117.5 million fee.
