Chelsea are said to be strongly interested in securing the services of the Prolific Pole this summer.

Bayern Munich president pours cold over Robert Lewandowski’s transfer rumors saying the striker will “definitely” stay at the club.

Lewandowski’s future has been up in the air lately amid rumors he could see out the final few years of his career in the Premier League.

The 32-year-old is supposedly a transfer target for Chelsea, who are understood to be in the market for a world-class No. 9 after struggling to covert their chances last season.

Now, when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net, there are very few better than the Poland international, who was recently crowned the German Footballer of the Year.

It appears, however, Chelsea will have to look elsewhere as Lewandowski seems to have no plans for moving away from the Allianz Arena.

“Firstly, in my opinion, Lewandowski is best striker in the world. We are so happy that we have him in our team,” Bayern president Hainer told Goal when asked about the striker’s future.

“He still has two more years on his contract. He will definitely play those with Bayern Munch. I said it already a few weeks ago – I could imagine him staying with us for even longer. He will honour his contract.

“He will definitely play the next two seasons here in Bayern Munich.”
