Let’s take a look at the Champions League tussle between PSG and Basaksehir from Group H. We have the Player Ratings.
After a disappointing start to the Champions League campaign for Paris Saint-Germain, Thomas Tuchel’s side sealed the victory in Turkey. The French champions subsequently beat Istanbul Basaksehir by 2-0 at the Fatih Terim Stadium.
However, in the early stages of the game, Neymar hobbled off the pitch following a muscular injury. Consequently, Pablo Sarabia switched for the Brazilian in the 27th minute.
Basaksehir though managed to hold off the visitors in the first half. The Turkish side constantly bombarded attempts towards Keylor Navas in PSG’s goal.
PSG although, unleashed the wrath of Moise Kean in the second half. In the 64th minute, the France international Kylian Mbappe directed his corner towards his teammates. Kean, who happened to be unmarked in the center of the box put in the sumptuous cross in the back of the net.
Furthermore, the Italy international grabbed his second for PSG in the 79th minute. A deflection from Basaksehir defender saw Kean free in the penalty box who controlled the ball to rifle a clever left-foot volley past Mert Gunok.
Now, with this important win away from home, PSG moves to third place behind Leipzig and Manchester United.
