A big-money signing initially struggled to adapt to life in Spain after leaving Liverpool but is gradually becoming a key part of the team.

Philipp Coutinho’s agent has brushed aside talks of the player’s potential switch from FC Barcelona to Juventus in January.

A report by Calciomercato claimed that the Catalan giants would be willing to cash in on the Brazil international when the transfer market opens, with the Italian champions interested in his services.

The talented midfielder brings flair, creativity, and attacking threat, and, as per the report, is an ideal candidate for a Juve side who have lacked those qualities at times.

Coutinho spent the last season on loan at Bayern Munich after enduring a torrid initial spell at Camp Nou following his €120 million move in 2018.

However, he has found consistent playing time under Ronald Koeman this season and, as his agent suggests, is not interested in a move away.

“I have not heard anything and we have no plans to move from Barca,” Kia Joorabchian affirmed in an interview with Mundo Deportivo.

“We are confident that Coutinho can contribute to a successful season [at Barcelona].”

Coutinho has been one of the consistent performers for Barcelona this term, chipping in two goals and as many assists in eight appearances across La Liga and Champions League.
