According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona decided to make a last-minute €75 million bid for a Bundesliga star in recent minutes.

FC Barcelona is still trying to make some interesting moves during the transfer window as they just made a €75 million offer for a Bundesliga star. We are talking about Dani Olmo, the Spanish offensive midfielder who recently played the Euros. What doesn’t make sense here is the bid, which is far above what FC Barcelona can actually pay for any player. There is only one way this could actually happen but it doesn’t look very plausible.

Should this happen, Dani Olmo could be the one player FC Barcelona comes to reinforce FC Barcelona. Another issue is that the Bundesliga transfer window closed at 18:00 today. In case you didn’t know, the German championship tends to close any type of purchase at this time but all sales remain open until midnight CET. This leaves Olmo’s chance to exit open but difficult because Leipzig won’t be able to replace him for obvious reasons.

Olmo’s transfer could depend on Atletico Madrid.

According to L’Equipe, Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona are trying to make Antoine Griezmann’s exit happen. The ‘Colchoneros’ already refused to make the swap deal for Joao Felix but they still want the Frenchman. Initially, they are willing to pay €50 million for the player but FC Barcelona prefers a loan for one season with the option to sell him after one year.

If this deal happens, the Catalan club’s salary cap would decrease and open space for Olmo to arrive. We are just a few minutes away from getting an announcement for Antoine Griezmann and possibly unlock Dani Olmo’s arrival. Also, FC Barcelona would be looking for a striker who can replace Griezmann on the attack. We still have no names confirmed but we will keep you informed about everything that happens.
