After suffering an apparent muscular injury, one of Barcelona’s key players was spotted leaving Sevilla FC’s stadium in crutches.

FC Barcelona got a number of terrible injury news during today’s match against Sevilla FC. During the first half, Gerard Pique felt some pain in his operated knee but he managed to play more minutes in the second half. Ronald Araujo took his place but he felt more pain in his ankle that forced him out of the game. However, none of these injuries are as worrisome as what Pedri went through.

Initially, there was a feeling he got a muscular issue and that was the reason he left the pitch. However, new information came to light and the problem seems way more serious than previously anticipated. It seems Pedri got his tissue damaged during a challenge and the proof was evident as he left the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. After looking at what we are about to show you, you will realize this is not a drill.

Pedri might not make it against PSG.

In a video picked up by the press, Pedri is spotted using crutches while he is leaving the stadium next to Ronald Araujo. Both players are injured but Pedri took the worst part by the looks of it. It is pretty much decided he will miss next Wednesday’s Copa del Rey match against Sevilla but he will attempt to get fit for PSG.

The odds aren’t great for Pedri due to the muscular tear issue but hope remains at FC Barcelona. We will keep you posted on the extent of the injury and how much time he will miss after the tests are made tomorrow. Pedri is set to undergo a CT scan in order to determine if there’s major tissue damage or it’s just a simple tear that can recover with rest.
