After careful examination from the medical team, Barcelona have offered information regarding the extent of Sergio Aguero’s chest problem.
Barcelona have confirmed that striker Sergio Aguero will miss out on football for at least three months following his awful incident on the field on Saturday.
During the first half of a 1-1 draw against Alaves on October 30, the Argentine was rushed to the hospital after a chest issue on the pitch.
Now, after performing medical checks, the Catalan club has informed that Aguero will not be able to play for several months.
A statement from the club read: “Sergio Agüero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr Josep Brugada.”
“He is unavailable for selection and during the next three months the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process.”
“The Argentine was taken to hospital for cardiological evaluation on Saturday following the Barça v Alavés game in which the Barça striker felt unwell in the first half. And was replaced before halftime by Philippe Coutinho.”
