Gareth Bale says he will definitely consider a return to the Premier League if Real Madrid give him the chance to leave.

Bale has opened up on his future and claims Real Madrid have made things difficult for him.

Ahead of their Nations League games, the 31-year-old has joined up with the Welsh squad.

Talks of Bale and his future was the order of the day during the La Liga season.

The Welshman came close to leaving Real Madrid last summer but a move to China was eventually blocked by the club.

Since then, Bale has made only 20 total appearances for the club and looked to be uninterested most of the time.

He was left out of his side’s Champions League game and also spotted a clownish look during his side’s La Liga celebrations.

Bale says he’s glad to be with the Wales squad where he’s appreciated and also spoke on his future away from Real Madrid.

“I think everyone knows how much I love coming away with Wales. It’s nice to be back at a place where you are a little bit more appreciated and supported by your fans no matter what.” he said to Sky Sports.

Bale remains frustrated at Real Madrid for blocking the opportunity of an exit. The Welshman has recently been linked with a return to the Premier League and admits he would seriously consider those offers.

“If those options arise (interest from Premier League clubs) it is something I’d look at for sure,” he added.

“We’ll see what happens, we have plenty of time in this transfer window and a couple of others as well. Time will tell but mainly I think the reason is that the decision is in Real Madrid’s hands.”

Bale has two years left on his current contract and it appears Real Madrid hold the key to how his future plays out.
