The Gabonese star continued his remarkable start to life at Camp Nou by scoring his fifth goal for his new side at the weekend.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has become the second-fastest player to score five goals in La Liga for Barcelona and the ninth player to do so in six games.
The former Arsenal striker took his tally up to five goals in six games during the club’s 4-0 win over Osasuna. He scored the third goal of the match, shortly after Ferran Torres’ early brace, before Riqui Puig wrapped things up in the second half.
Thanks to this strike, Aubameyang has recorded the second-least amount of appearances to supply five goals in La Liga – a feat that only legends like Samuel Eto’o, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Ronaldo Nazario have bettered.
He is only the ninth Barcelona player to hit this tally in only six games after Eto’o, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Johan Cruyff, Romario, Ronald Koeman, Hans Krankl, and Sandor Kocsis.

‘Aubameyang is a present fallen out of the sky’
The 32-year-old has been a revelation since his free transfer in January after a difficult end to his spell at Arsenal. He is already Barcelona’s second-highest scorer in La Liga, after Luuk de Jong, and is impressing on the training ground.
“Aubameyang is a present that has fallen out of the sky,” said Barca boss Xavi in a post-match press conference.
“It’s not just [the goals], it’s how he trains and his professionalism. He’s an example, [all the players] are.”
Aubameyang will hope to keep his prolific form ahead of a big week for Barcelona. Xavi’s men first face Galatasaray in Turkey on Thursday for the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie. Then it’s a trip to the Bernabeu for another Clasico against arch-rivals Real Madrid.
