Houssem Aouar feels honored to be linked with a move to Manchester City but refuses to be drawn too much into the speculations.

Regarded as one of the brightest talents in Ligue 1, Houssem Aouar has been heavily linked with a move away from Olympique Lyon.

Among those rumored to be keen on signing him are Premier League duo Arsenal & Manchester City and Serie A champions Juventus.

Lyon sporting director Juninho Pernambucano recently even opened the door for the midfielder’s exit with his statement that the club could lose some of their valuable players this summer.

One of Aouar’s suitors will get to see him play first-hand as his side prepare to take on Man City in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the 22-year old recently gave a diplomatic answer to the questions surrounding his future.

“A job interview no, no, but it is obviously always flattering to hear your name being associated with such teams,” he said, according to Get French Football News.

“To be completely honest, I find this a bit out of order to speak about my situation before such an important match.

“I am 100% focused on Lyon for the moment. This is a very important match and a very very good one to play in.”
