Due to his lack of activity in recent months, Antonio Cassano launched an unsolicited attack against Paulo Dybala in a recent conversation.

Antonio Cassano doesn’t seem to like Paulo Dybala, he just proved it during a conversation with Christian Vieri on Twitch. It’s true, the Argentine playmaker hasn’t lived up to the expectations formed around him when he was starting his career. Ever since Leo Messi spoke wonders about his football, it’s been painfully clear that Paulo hasn’t been able to improve more than the top of his game.

The best Paulo Dybala we ever say dates back to the summer of 2017, when he took Juventus to the Champions League final. During that tournament, the star eliminated FC Barcelona on his own but choked on the final against Real Madrid. Dybala also doesn’t seem to find his ideal spot on the Argentina national team. For Antonio Cassano, Paulo has never lived up to all the hype created around him.

But we all know how Cassano tends to communicate his ideas. The Italian former star is arguably one of football’s biggest rebels. As such, he never stays quiet when he doesn’t agree with something. There’s a large list of controversial things he said in the past, but this attack against Dybala is wildly unsolicited. “All his coaches at Juventus did not consider him necessary, so I wonder if he is a champion or a great player,” Cassano told Cristian Vieri in a discussion on his official Twitch channel.

“For me he is not a champion, he does not make the difference. He has [scored] good goals, like I saw [Antonio] Di Natale and [Lorenzo] Insigne do. But if you want to take Juventus’ No.10 [shirt], you have to be at a higher level. I have the feeling that, when they put pressure on him, he pis*es himself.”And then he asks for 10 million euros per season. Oh, please…”
