Amid speculation surrounding Dybala at Juventus, Fabio Capello insists he would only swap the midfielder for one player.
Fabio Capello insists he would swap Paulo Dybala only for Harry Kane, despite the Juventus star’s misfiring form so far this season.
The Argentine has struggled with injury and form this season, scoring just once in eight league appearances for the Serie A champions.
Dybala has been overshadowed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata in Turin this year. Regardless, the former England boss remains a keen supporter and insisted Juve should not use him as bait to land Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
Reports claim United could use the out-of-favor midfielder to swap for a Paul Pogba return but Capello isn’t a fan of that playing through at all.
“Paulo reminds me of Savicevic, he too preferred to start from the right. He had great vision and special dribbling abilities.” Capello told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He had that great strength in the lower body to escape the tackles. Dybala is better at finishing, while Dejan was more an assist man. He had a quick pass. Well, maybe Dybala is a bit more individualistic.”
“I wouldn’t swap Dybala to get Pogba. If I could, I’d trade him with Tottenham’s English striker Harry Kane.”
