The England international could not finish Real Madrid’s Champions League game against Braga after experiencing discomfort in his groin.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has assured that Jude Bellingham is fine.

Bellingham continued his remarkable start at Real Madrid by scoring the club’s second goal in Tuesday’s 2-1 Champions League win over Braga.

Yet, in the 89th minute, the midfielder could not continue any longer. He limped off the pitch, as Lucas Vazquez took his place.

“He is alright,” Ancelotti said of Bellingham’s condition in a post-match press conference.

“He was feeling it a little bit in his abductors because it was a soft pitch. He’s a little tired but that’s to be expected.”

Bellingham has managed 11 goals and three assists in 12 games since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for €103 million.

Rodrygo Goes scored Real Madrid’s other goal on Tuesday in Portugal. The victory kept Ancelotti’s side top of Group C, with nine points in three games.

They will now turn their focus to Saturday’s Clasico against Barcelona in LaLiga.
