Alvaro Morata has been rumoured to make a move to Barcelona over the last week, but Massimiliano Allegri gives a final call.

Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has given his final verdict on Alvaro Morata’s link to Barcelona.

The Spaniard has been heavily connected with a switch to the Catalan giants in recent days. In fact, reports have suggested that he could terminate his current two-year loan deal early.

Initially, the striker was said to be interested in a six months agreement with the possibility of a permanent move.

However, Juve boss Allegri has put a full stop to any further advancements in Morata’s possible transfer. The manager had a meeting with the Spain international earlier this week and it seems that the conclusion has been made.

As stated by Football Italia: “I told Alvaro that he is staying here. He is not leaving Juventus, end of story.”

Unfortunately for Barca, they will miss out on a golden opportunity to bolster their attacking unit. Additionally, Edinson Cavani will also stay at Manchester United given Ralf Rangnick’s latest comments.
