The Juventus manager has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo intends to leave the club amid reports linking him to Manchester City.
Cristiano Ronaldo ‘no longer has any intention to play for Juventus’, says Massimiliano Allegri.
The Portuguese superstar bid farewell to his teammates on Friday morning in Continassa. He spent around 40 minutes at the club’s training ground before leaving for probably the last time.

Now Allegri has confirmed that Ronaldo is indeed on his way out and thanked the five-time Ballon d’Or winner for all his contributions in the last three years.
“Yesterday, Cristiano told me he no longer has any intention to play for Juventus. For this reason, he will not be called up for tomorrow’s game,” said the Juventus manager in a press conference on Friday.
“Things change, it’s a law of life. Juventus remains, which is the most important thing. Cristiano gave his contribution, he made himself available, now he leaves and life goes on.”
“Cristiano is to be thanked for what he has done, also as an example amongst the youngsters. But as I said, we must go on.”
Ronaldo is currently waiting for his agent, Jorge Mendes, to return with an official bid from Manchester City. Once he has confirmation, a Premier League return is inevitable.
