Following the conclusion of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations group stages, the Technical Study Group (TSG) has released the tournament’s best XI so far.
The best XI from the group stages of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations has been unveiled.
Cameroon boast a tournament-best of four players in the line-up, although Vincent Aboubakar is the only one to make the starting XI. Goalkeeper Andre Onana, forward Karl Toko Ekambi, and left-back Nouhou Tolo made the bench.
Group D winners Nigeria and runners-up Egypt have three players each included. Moses Simon and William Troost-Ekong made the starting XI for the Super Eagles, while Mohamed Elshennawy starts in goal for the latter.

Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mane (Senegal), meanwhile, both made the bench.
Stars from Morocco, Guinea, Mali, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Tunisia, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea also made AFCON’s best group stage XI.
The best player, young player, goalkeeper, and manager of the AFCON group stages have also been announced.
