The Salzburg sensation is attracting attention from several European heavyweights, with the Catalan club being one of them.
FC Barcelona are no longer in the race for Red Bull Salzburg’s Karim Adeyemi it seems as his agent has confirmed that “Barca is NO longer an option” for his client.
It has been reported Barcelona are keen on securing the services of the talented teenager, whose stock has rapidly been rising this season.
Adeyemi has notched up an impressive 18 goals and 4 assists in just 28 appearances across all competitions for Red Bull Salzburg so far in 2021-22.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also understood to be interested in him, and a move to the Bundesliga appears more likely for the 19-year-old German attacker.
“Two days ago we said definitive ‘no’ to Barca’s proposal for Adeyemi,” confirmed the player’s entourage, speaking to journalist Toni Juanmarti.
“Barca is NO longer an option for Karim. The best thing for him is a German club.”
