San Siro was the place where AC Milan played against Celtic in the UEFA Europa League’s Group H match. We have player ratings.

AC Milan needed to prove they could work fine without an injured Zlatan against Celtic this evening. The UEFA Europa League is one of the Rossoneri’s biggest targets this season as they are on their way to a revival tour around Europe. In front of them, there was a Celtic Glasgow squad with a lot of talented players but no real structure.

The Scots are currently 11 points behind Steven Gerrard’s Rangers squad and the bottom of Group H in this competition. One could say AC Milan had an easy game ahead despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence. However, the visitors began their game with two gifts from the AC Milan defensive line. Goals from Rogic and Edouard came before the 15th minute of the game. This meant the Rossoneri had to come back from a two-goal deficit, which was a perfect test for all the players.

The comeback began through Hakan Calhanoglu’s beautiful free-kick right before half time. Two minutes later, the Turkish playmaker set Samu Castillejo up for the second goal with a clinical cross from the right flank. With the game leveled, Milan just had to return to finish Celtic off during the second half.

Hauge takes over the second half.

The Norway National Team has to feel happy with the many talented players they produced in this generation. Jens Peter Hauge is up there with Odegaard and Haaland as a wildly talented trio that will bring joy to the Nordic nation. Against Celtic tonight, he performed an impressive second half with one goal and an assist to Brahim.

Both opportunities were impressive individual efforts that made him worthy of a man of the match award. Although Calhanoglu and Brahim weren’t far behind the Norway international, he was the best on the pitch. Zlatan must be happy with this result and eager to return to play with these teammates.
