After one and a half years in the French capital, the former Tottenham and Southampton boss has been relieved of his role.
Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the departure of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Despite leading the club to three trophies in his one and a half years in the dugout, two failed attempts to win the Champions League – the prize PSG crave the most – have put an end to Pochettino’s tenure.
The 50-year-old Argentine, who had a year left on his contract, leaves with a record of 56 wins in 84 matches (D13 L15). PSG will hold a press conference later on Tuesday, presumably to name their next head coach, at 13:45 (CET).

Who will replace Pochettino?
Christophe Galtier is expected to replace Pochettino at the Parc des Princes for next season.
The 55-year-old Frenchman is available after ending a one-year stay at Nice. He is the favorite of new PSG sporting director Luis Campos, having famously led Lille to Ligue 1 title success in 2020/21.
Various reports have linked a host of star names to the manager’s job in Paris, including former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and Roma coach Jose Mourinho.
