The Guinean midfielder was stretchered off in Liverpool’s stunning 5-0 victory at Manchester United following a robust challenge from Paul Pogba.
Jurgen Klopp has conceded that Liverpool won’t know how serious Naby Keita’s injury is for a day or two.
The Guinea international scored his second goal in as many games to hand Liverpool a fifth-minute lead during Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
He also assisted Mohamed Salah’s first goal of the game to hand the visitors a 3-0 lead in the 38th-minute.
Yet, in what was arguably one of Keita’s best performances in a Reds jersey, came to an unfortunate end. Pogba’s terrible tackle in the second half left Keita unable to continue. The United midfielder may have got sent off with a red card, but it was of small consolation to Liverpool.

“With Naby Keita, we have to see how serious it is,” said Klopp as per the Mirror.
“It’s very painful, but we’ll see. We’ll only know tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Naby is in a great moment. He’s an outstanding player.”
Joining Keita on the sidelines was James Milner, who suffered a muscle injury in the first half. Klopp confirmed in his post-match conference that the 35-year-old had a hamstring problem.
The Liverpool manager is currently without Harvey Elliott, Thiago Alcantara, and Fabinho.
