The latest transfer rumors from around the footballing world, including Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and much more.
Neymar recommends Mbappe replacement to PSG
Paris Saint-Germain could allow Kylian Mbappe to leave this summer rather than lose him for free next year. The striker has turned down a lucrative five-year contract offer, which included an option for a sixth season. His stance opens the door for Real Madrid to make a bid before the transfer window shuts on August 31.
Should that be the case, Richarlison may head to Paris as a replacement. Neymar has suggested his Brazil teammate to the club board. Therefore, PSG have contacted the Everton forward’s entourage.
If no changes occur next month, PSG could postpone their interest in Richarlison and resume contract talks with Mbappe until January – which is when he can sign a pre-contract agreement with a new club. [RMC Sport – in French]
Could Aubameyang leave Arsenal?
The Gunners no longer view Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as indispensable, following the captain’s dip in form.
Therefore, Arsenal would listen to offers for their highest-paid player and won’t stand in Aubameyang’s way if he chooses to leave the Emirates before the transfer window deadline. [Telegraph – subscription required]
Chelsea eye late loan move for Saul Niguez
The European champions are considering a late approach to sign Saul Niguez on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Billy Gilmour’s loan move to Norwich City has left Thomas Tuchel with a midfielder down. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ethan Ampadu have returned from their respective loan spells, but both players could leave again. Chelsea would also like to offload midfielders Barkley, Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
It’s understood that Saul’s chances of joining Chelsea on loan rest on whether the Blues can offload any of the above-mentioned midfielders. [Telegraph – subscription required]
Rice angles for West Ham exit
Declan Rice plans to reject any contract offers from West Ham. The 22-year-old feels the club board has priced him out of a summer transfer amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
But Rice still has three years left on his current deal and West Ham can extend it by another 12 months. The Hammers, therefore, are under no pressure to sell the midfielder. [Times – subscription required]
Torreira and Willian close to Arsenal exits
Lucas Torreira’s Arsenal nightmare is almost over. The Uruguayan midfielder is on the verge of a loan move to Fiorentina for this term, with a buy option included for next summer. He spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid, where he became a La Liga winner.
Meanwhile, Willian could join Corinthians. The Brazilian club and Arsenal are in talks for a free transfer, despite the former Chelsea winger still having two years left on his Gunners contract. [The Athletic]
