A host of clubs have been linked with the signing of the Norwegian sensation, and BVB’s fierce rivals are the first to publicize their interest.
Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has admitted that Erling Haaland is a subject of interest for the club.
Haaland took the Bundesliga by storm following his €20 million move to Borussia Dortmund – a transfer that is increasingly looking an immense bargain in hindsight.
The 21-year-old striker, who has notched up an extraordinary tally of 60 goals and 15 assists in just 60 appearances for BVB in total so far, has been turning the heads of European heavyweights with his stellar performances ever since.
Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich are all said to be preparing to battle for his signature next summer when his reported €80 million release clause kicks in next summer.
He seems content at the Signal Iduna Park for now – but that isn’t stopping the Norwegian sensation’s potential suitors to publicly praise him and admit about their desire to sign him.
“This is a top player who the whole world probably wants,” stated Bayern’s chief Salihamidzic, speaking to German outlet SPORT1.
“Of course we are looking at him. Otherwise, we would be complete amateurs.”
