After a forgettable Euros performance, it’s finally time for Kylian Mbappe to make a decision about his future. Real Madrid or PSG?
Kylian Mbappe’s future is back in question after his forgettable performance with France at the Euros. The young forward wants to forget this sour moment as fast as possible and the only way is to make a decision. We all want to know where he wants to play next season and check if he is willing to go to war with PSG. As we’ve been telling you for the past few months, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has no intention of letting Kylian Mbappe leave PSG.
His plan is to at least retain the young star until the 2022 World Cup in Qatar takes place. To those who don’t know, PSG is owned by Qatar and keeping their players is within their best interest. As they’ve done with other players in the past, PSG always tends to forbid their transfers and they go to extreme lengths in order to keep them. The same patterns is beginning to form with Kylian Mbappe but his latest Euros performance might give him a chance to negotiate.

Before the Euros, PSG had full control of the negotiation with Kylian Mbappe’s incredible individual performance in all competitions. He eliminated FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich from the Champions League basically by himself. But after France’s elimination at the Euros, his dismal performance should give Real Madrid some chances to sign him. Market-wise, Kylian Mbappe just got slightly devalued after his penalty miss and not scoring a single goal in four matches.
This is the perfect time for Los Blancos to attempt a possible transfer. But more importantly, this is the perfect time for Kylian Mbappe to make a decision. Because at the end of the day, he is the one who has the last word about where he is going to play next. Will he decide to remain at PSG with Neymar or does he want to become Real Madrid’s next major superstar?
