It’s time to take a look at birthday boy Jadon Sancho and tell you the reasons he already is one of the best players in the world right now.

To those who don’t know, Jadon Sancho just turned 21 and he has many reasons to celebrate this new chapter in his life. We all talk about the young talents of players like Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland, but Sancho is not far from their level of performance. As we looked through his stats at this age, we realize he can already be compared to other legendary players at the same age.

Sancho is hands down one of the most consistent young players in the world, the club that signs him next will have a safe bet on their hands. In the Bundesliga alone, Sancho played 99 matches with 46 assists and 36 goals. At 21, those numbers are completely out of this world for a player his age. No player in the world has more goals and assist than Sancho since 2017, which was the year he became a professional in German football.

Sancho is set to meet City for revenge.

As the Champions League’s quarterfinals approach, we look at Jadon Sancho’s unique chance to get some sweet revenge. Pep Guardiola and the club refused to pay him what he believed he deserved. They let him leave the Citizens to look for better opportunities in the Bundesliga. After a few years at Dortmund, it’s pretty clear who was right all along.

Although Pep Guardiola doesn’t shy away from the player he let escape, poetic justice might come in effect if Sancho eliminates his former club. Before this happens, the young star will have to recover from a recent injury in time. But we gotta say that at his age, Sancho is already looking like one of the best players in the world. He is just lucky to be under the radar with Erling Haaland taking most of the pressure.
