According to reports from Catalan news outlets, FC Barcelona has a plan to sign a star and three low-cost players in the summer.

FC Barcelona has a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window, they need to make some important changes to the team’s structure. In order to accomplish that, they need to get rid of some players who are considered dead weight to the squad. After they release some of them, they will have to go after a few key positions in order to make the team stronger. President Joan Laporta has a very specific plan in mind that involved signing a star player and three low-cost footballers.

If he manages to accomplish that, he will have a chance to win titles next season. Don’t get us wrong, we believe he has a chance to win titles this year but it’ll be more difficult with the players he currently has. We are going to give you a detailed look at the players Koeman and Laporta have in mind for next summer. If they play their cards right, they might be able to sign all of them.

Haaland leads the way for Barcelona.

Joan Laporta’s excellent relationship with Mino Raiola is the main reason he might get ahead in the race to sign Erling Haaland. Although Borussia Dortmund already confirmed they won’t take less than €180 million for the player, they are willing to negotiate. If the Blaugranas offer a player that can convince Dortmund, it is possible to bring Haaland to the club. In order to make this deal happen, Laporta will have to agree on some conditions.

As far as the low-cost players goes, we are talking about very specific names. Koeman is dead set on getting Wijnaldum and Depay for his side. Both of these players end their contracts in the summer and they would come for free. Eric Garcia is the other player on the list, who would also come for free. Barcelona will have done a good job if they manage to get all these players next summer. Some of these rumors were taken from a report done by Sport.
