Arsenal have issued the latest update on the availability and fitness of captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been spotted in Arsenal training ahead of their game with Wolves on Tuesday.
The Gunners captain has missed his side’s last three games to be with his mother, who has been unwell.
In the absence of Aubameyang, Arsenal maintained an unbeaten run, winning two games and drawing last time out against Manchester United.
After weeks of uncertainty, the Gabonese forward is now set to return back to the Gunners lineup.
The north London side shared a picture on social media focused on the 31-year-old in training on Monday evening.
Arsenal further issued a statement to corroborate the evidence that Aubameyang is fully ready for action.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Auba has returned to full training. Our thoughts and support continue to be with him and his family.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Aubameyang travelled abroad but it appears the forward has been in isolation since Monday.
With that in mind, the game against Wolves on Tuesday might come too soon for the forward to feature.
However, the Gunners can be pleased with the sight of their captain back in training.
