Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has revealed the club’s stance on Paul Pogba amid uncertainty around the Frenchman at Manchester United.
Juventus continue to ‘flirt’ around Paul Pogba but the club are yet to decide on anything regarding a return for the Frenchman.
Super agent Mino Raiola threw the player’s future at the club into much uncertainty after a recent claim saying ‘it is all over at Manchester United’.
Pogba has failed to live up to the £89m then world-record fee United coughed out for his services back in 2016.
Injuries and inconsistency has seen the 27-year-old cut a divisive figure amongst the club’s fanbase.
Pogba has been in and out of the United starting lineup this term and Raiola further claimed his client could no longer express himself at the club.
Red Devils’ boss Ole Solskjaer fired back at the player’s agent after United’s 3-2 loss to RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.
Pogba has on more than one occasion stated his desire to play for Real Madrid but Juventus have been the most prominent side touted as his next potential destination.
Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says the club maintain a good relationship with their former player but there is nothing more to it at the moment. However, he remained coy on the question of a potential return for the Frenchman.
Fabrizio Romano quoted the Juve director to have said as saying: “Pogba back to Juve? We love Paul, he’s an amazing player, but he’s playing for Manchester United now.”
“He’ll not be a free agent, you’ve to pay if you want to sign Pogba”
“We know so well the value of Paul Pogba. We also know his price, so we will see what happens”.
