The World Cup winner is set to become a free agent and could prove to be even greater than most Spurs fans may have anticipated.
Paul Robinson reckons Sami Khedira would have ‘a huge amount to offer’ for Tottenham and could make an impact similar to veteran star performers Cristiano Ronaldo or Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Khedira’s contract at Juventus will expire next summer and hopes of an extension appear unlikely. A January exit cannot be ruled out either, as the Bianconeri may attempt to recoup a fee for a player they’ve seemingly deemed surplus to requirements.
The 33-year-old midfielder has struggled with regular injury setbacks in the last few seasons, restricting his game time even further. But he remains open to new possibilities and is open to reuniting with his former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, who now coaches Tottenham.
"He is a winner, he is a champion."
Sami Khedira says it would be an "honour" to fulfil a career dream and play in the Premier League, adding that his former boss Jose Mourinho remains the best manager he has played for…👀

But would the move be a good call for Spurs at such an advanced stage in Khedira’s career?
Former Spurs goalkeeper Robinson told Football Insider: “Look at the likes of Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic, players can play on a lot longer than they used to.
“Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic will be one of the fittest, if not the fittest in their squads.
“Professional footballers look after themselves and go on a lot longer. They are monitored on a daily basis.
“We no longer have players retiring at 30, 32 unless it is a really bad injury.
“Players are fitter and stronger, and it is helping them elongate their careers.
“There is no reason why Khedira would not do that, he has a huge amount to offer, but you are not going to sign him on a three-year contract.”
