Barca could be without another of their key players after the international break as Sergio Busquets has sustained a ligament sprain.
Sergio Busquets has been ruled out of Spain’s crunch Nations League encounters against Germany.
The defensive midfielder will undergo an MRI scan on Monday to determine the severity of the injury, with the current diagnosis being a ligament sprain in his knee.
Busquets had to be replaced in the second half of the recent 1-1 stalemate against Switzerland after receiving a strong blow to his left knee.
He did not participate in training in Switzerland on Sunday but will stay with the national team for now.
Apart from the Germany clash, the FC Barcelona man is also at risk of missing the La Liga fixture against Atletico Madrid when domestic football returns after the international break.
Shortly after the match at Wanda Metropolitano, Barca pay a visit to Dynamo Kyiv for the Champions League group stage game.
