Arkadiusz Milik is biding his time waiting for the next transfer window to open as he seeks resolution over his future.
Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik was heavily linked with a move away last season amid increased tension between him and the club.
Interest from within the country as well as overseas was reported for the striker as he was linked with a move to Tottenham, Everton, Manchester United, Juventus, and AS Roma.
A transfer anywhere, however, failed to materialize despite. To make matters worse, the Pole even fell out of favor at his own club.
He was left out of Napoli’s 25-man squad list for the season after missing out on a move away before the summer transfer window deadline due to some complications.
Milik, who netted 14 times across all competitions last season, will now be looking to move on at the next available opportunity in January.
“Now, I’ll wait for the next transfer window and I hope the clubs can find and understanding,” said Milik in an interview with Polish publication Sportowe Fakty.
“Physically I’m fine, I have trained well individually. I will play matches with the national side. In three months, my form won’t be too much affected.”
