Jose Mourinho commented on Gareth Bale’s return to the squad as Tottenham look forward to two games during the week.

Tottenham Hotspurs’ boss Jose Mourinho said that Gareth Bale is “very happy” to be back with the club.

Now, he continues to recover from his injury. Unfortunately, the star winger suffered from an injury right after joining the club earlier this month.

Bale returned to Spurs on September 18 from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Evidently, the Welshman played a phenomenal six years with the English side before his big move to Spain.

Even though Bale won many trophies in Madrid, he was considered an outsider for the team. Moreover, he remained on the bench often during the last season.

With this move to Spurs, the old Gareth Bale could come back once again. Though, it will take some time due to his injury.

Bale very happy at Spurs!

The “speedster” is suffering from a knee injury that he initially had during the last international break.

Mourinho admitted that the forward is recovering well when asked about the status of his injury.

Furthermore, the information of Heung-Min injury has been provided by the Portuguese.

“Sonny, of course, is not playing tomorrow. He is a doubt for Sunday, I would say a big doubt, but I don’t want to say that he is not going to play because maybe he does it and my position is not good,” Mourinho said.

“Bale cannot play tomorrow or on the weekend, that I can confirm. He’s working hard, very committed, very professional, very happy, but not yet for tomorrow or for the weekend.

“I believe that the two weeks of the international break can be important weeks to his last phase of recovery and fitness problems, hopefully, to play when we’re back the weekend after the national teams. We’ll see if it is possible to arrive there. From yesterday, its just fatigue, no injured players, no.”

Spurs look rejuvenated after their victory over Chelsea. They beat the Londoners in the Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout.

Spurs will play against Maccabi Haifa on Thursday in the Europa League. Later, Mourinho’s men will face Manchester United this weekend with some Premier League action.
