The UEFA Champions League’s new season is upon us, we have all the relevant information about the Group Stage draw that is coming out way. Although we just witnessed history in a final between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, the pandemic rushed a brand new season only a couple of months later.
There are quite a few qualified clubs already, which brings us to the brink of an exciting time of the year. The UEFA Champions League’s Group Stage draw will take place in a little over two weeks and we have all the details here.
Date and venue for the Champions League draw.
The upcoming Champions League draw will take place on Thursday, October 1st. It will take place at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland after the venue was changed from Athens due to the global pandemic. The draw will begin at 5 pm local time (CET).
This draw will also get the opportunity to give away all the awards for last season’s top performers. After the draw, the first round of matches in this Group Stage will take place on October 20 and 21. This will be a Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
Which clubs are qualified and what are their betting odds?
In total, we already have 26 qualified clubs in this tournament. We are still going through the preliminaries ahead of the group stage and they will be decided before the draw.
