Sandro Tonali is hoping for his future to get sorted as soon as possible amid all the transfer speculations, says Massimo Cellino.
Brescia’s Sandro Tonali gained much attention with his impressive displays in the 2019/20 season and has since been heavily linked with a move away.
Tonali made 35 league appearances last season but was unable to prevent his side from getting relegated from the Italian top-flight.
Manchester United, Inter Milan, and AC Milan are some of the high profile teams linked with his signing.
The 20-year old is reportedly against moving abroad as he belives staying in Italy would prove to be the most beneficial for his development. It is understood that he wants to join Inter Milan and has already agreed to personal terms with them.
A recent report claimed that the Rossoneri have made a late move in an attempt to snatch the highly-rated midfielder from the hands of their rivals.
And Brescia president Massimo Cellino has confirmed that Milan technical director Paolo Maldini had been in touch with him to discuss a possible transfer for Tonali.
“I appreciated the seriousness of Maldini, confirming the historic Milan. I don’t want to add more to be inappropriate,” Cellino told Sky Sport.
“[Inter chief executive Giuseppe] Marotta has always confirmed the strong interest … I have always avoided negotiations with other clubs, especially foreign ones.
“But the boy needs to know what his future is. So, I’m not in a hurry, but he is, and it seems more than justified to me.”
