Zlatan’s struggles with the virus.

Talking to Corriere dello Sport, Zlatan said: “I feel at home when I’m in Milanello but I won’t decide my future on my own. I miss my teammates, they are tired of not having me around. Staying with them is something I would like. When I tried to return, Pioli reminded me I have two kids at home but Milanello is also my home and I have another 25 kids who need me here as well.”

Then he spoke about his experience with Covid: “It was something that intrigued me because it hit everybody around the world. It’s a great tragedy. In the beginning, I had a headache that wasn’t potent but it was annoying. Then I lost my sense of taste. I was at home all day and pissed because I couldn’t leave. I wasn’t able to train. There was even a moment in which I was talking on my own with the house. I named the walls of my home. It became something mental. You look at yourself and you imagine everything terrible happening to you, even the things you don’t have. Pain for what you feel and what you think you feel.”
