After getting diagnosed with Covid-19, Zlatan Ibrahimovic took to Twitter for a response in his particular style to challenge the disease.

The world got on a field day when Zlatan Ibrahimovic was announced as a Covid-19 positive patient. There are many jokes about how invincible the Swedish striker has always been and today was no exception. Anybody who knows football is aware of Zlatan’s ‘immortality’ or ‘invincibility’. Zlatan is kind of football’s Chuck Borris, he will never be vanquished. Just last weekend, he posted a tweet in which he refers to Benjamin Button.

Now that Covid got him, it was pretty much obvious he wouldn’t show any symptoms due to his incredible physique. But the whole world was expecting him to mention something about the situation and he finally did.

Zlatan challenges Covid-19.

As soon as people started realizing what was happening, the jokes started pouring in. Ibrahimovic was portrayed as the one with the upper hand against the virus and even famous people started talking about it.

Gary Lineker himself, who is a known jokester, was on board. He sent thoughts and prayers to the virus in this difficult time.

But Ibrahimovic’s response was the best of them all: “I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever. Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea,” wrote Zlatan on Twitter

This news also means that the player will miss the next two weeks of competitions for AC Milan and we immediately realized something important.

Since Zlatan returned to the club, the Rossoneri would be at the top of Serie A with 48 points if we put together both tournaments. His teammates will surely miss him but he will return after beating Covid.
