After a new victory for the Rossoneri, Zlatan Ibrahimovic just confirmed the arrival of a new striker to AC Milan in the winter transfer window.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic seemed to confirm the arrival of another top striker to AC Milan in the coming days to help them win the Scudetto. The Swedish striker has taken the Rossoneri from obscurity back to the top of the table and made them competitive again. But he also wants them to secure the Serie A title with more great players coming to play at the club this season.
One of those options is Mario Mandzukic, who already had a successful period at Juventus in previous years. For Zlatan, having a player like Mario in the front is fantastic to intimidate other rivals. We still didn’t have any confirmation on this possible transfer but Ibrahimovic lifted the lid on it. As you might already know, Mandzukic traveled to Milano this week in order to complete his medical but the club still hadn’t confirmed his transfer.
Ibrahimovic found happiness in Milano again.
Zlatan said the following on Sky Sport Italy: “I had to score another one, it took two to win. It was a difficult game, I didn’t play for 57 days, I’m sorry. It can happen. In one less it is not easy to play, against a team against which it’s hard to play. Young people motivate me, they challenge me to see who runs more, I don’t give up and show that I can run like them. We are doing well, we are almost halfway through the season.
“Now the most difficult games are starting. It will be a very tough schedule, but with Mandzukic, Meité, I don’t know if more will arrive. More players available for the coach, they can help. I’m happy, so we have two that scare our opponents. I believe in me, in Zlatan. My contract renewal depends on him, on Paolo. I’m very happy at AC Milan. This return to Milan has changed me a lot, I’m very happy.”
