With less than a week to go before Real Madrid face Chelsea in the Champions League, Zidane has recalled Hazard and Modric.

Eden Hazard and Luka Modric have returned to the squad for Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Real Betis on Saturday.

Zinedine Zidane has recalled the pair for the club’s last match before Chelsea visit them in Spain for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie next Tuesday.

Hazard, who hasn’t played since March 13 against Elche, has returned to group training after carefully managing his recovery from a muscle injury relapse.

The former Chelsea winger, in fact, has spent the last three weeks in training. He now hopes to get some game time against Betis on Saturday before facing his old club next week.

“Eden is going to be with us [against Betis], he is going to be on the list,” confirmed Zidane confirmed in a pre-match conference on Friday.

Modric, meanwhile, missed the 3-0 midweek win over Cadiz because of a back problem. However, Zidane has confirmed the former Tottenham man is available for selection again.

But Sergio Ramos, Ferland Mendy, Lucas Vazquez, Toni Kroos, and Federico Valverde remain unavailable for this weekend.
