Zinedine Zidane responded to talks of Real Madrid’s potential removal from the UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea.

Zinedine Zidane struck back to talks of Real Madrid being thrown out of the Champions League due to involvement in the Super League.

Club president Florentino Perez is the leading figure for the breakaway competition and shocked the entire footballing world with the plans.

However, the unfair project was stripped to nothing with the help of supporters and clubs involved within 48 hours of the announcement.

UEFA and domestic governing bodies declared that they will ban all the players and clubs involved in the Super League from their competitions.

This meant that Zidane’s Real Madrid could not be allowed to play their semi-finals against Chelsea. On the same, the former France international replied: “We have the right to play in the Champions League.”

“It’s illogical and absurd [that we might be disqualified]. No, I don’t have any worries [about the refereeing]. We’ll play our semi-final, as is our right.”
