The Real Madrid boss admits he is still a big fan of Ronaldo’s and has now spoken on the transfer rumors of a reunion.
Zinedine Zidane admits Real Madrid still have a lot of love for the ‘magnificent’ Cristiano Ronaldo, but he refused to dwell on the comeback rumors.
Three successive early knockout-stage exits in the Champions League have raised doubts over Ronaldo’s future. Reports suggest he may call time on his three-year spell in Turin.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo will hold talks with Juventus soon as his contract expires next year.
Juventus are planning to re-build the team. McKennie, Chiesa, de Ligt, Szczesny will be part of the project. There will be a discussion with Cristiano Ronaldo on his future [contract expiring in 2022]. Ramsey could leave the club. Pirlo already announced he’s staying. ⚪️⚫️ #Juve

But if he was to leave Juventus either in 2021 or next year, would a Real Madrid return be possible?
“You know what he is, what he has done and how much love we have for him,” said Zidane on a Ronaldo comeback in Madrid during a press conference on Friday afternoon.
“He made history here, he’s magnificent.
“Now, he is a Juve player and I cannot tell you anything about what they (media) are saying. He’s a Juve player and I have to respect these things.”
Ronaldo managed a club-record 450 goals and 132 assists in 438 appearances for Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018.
The Portuguese ace won 15 major honors in the Spanish capital, including four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns.
