Questions have been asked of the Frenchman’s future at Santiago Bernabeu amid what has been a substandard season for his side so far.

Zinedine Zidane has refused to discuss his future at Real Madrid ahead of their final La Liga game of the season on Saturday.

Real Madrid were knocked from the Champions League in the semi-finals stage at the hands of Chelsea.

Los Blancos also suffered elimination in the Copa del Rey following a 2-1 defeat against Segunda Division B side Alcoyano.

The Spanish champions, though, still can end the season with a trophy as the Liga title race remains open. They are two points below Atletico Madrid in the league standings. Should they win the game and should Atletico drop points on Saturday, Real Madrid will be crowned champions.

“It’s always the same question,” Zidane responded when quizzed whether he has made a decision about his future, as AS reports.

“I’m not going to answer that. We have a game tomorrow and that is all that matters to us”.

Asked whether “Sure, no doubt about it at all”.

“I don’t think you can find fault with my players at all. We’ve had injuries, Covid, a lot of things… You can always do things better and I am always very critical with myself. I am a winner and I don’t like losing. In my life, I fight and give everything I have to win. The players want to win too”.
