After Real Madrid’s victory against Real Valladolid, Zinedine Zidane sent an ominous threat to Eden Hazard after his latest injury setback.

Eden Hazard is slowly becoming a major problem for Zinedine Zidane. The French manager was one of the first who spotted his talent since he played at Lille in Ligue 1. He was also one of the people who pushed for his transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid. After more than a year at the club, the Belgian star is an utter disappointment for ‘Zizou’ due to his never-ending injuries.

He had a major chance to return to a match tonight against Real Valladolid, but a fresh muscular problem prevented him from doing so. Los Blancos did win the match with a solo goal from Vinicius, but it’s clear that they need a talent like Hazard to become more dominant. After the match, the French boss sent his player an ominous message that sounded like a threat.

“Hazard is a little sad because he practiced well throughout the week with his usual speed, just as I know him,” said Zidane via AS after the game. “This is a minor setback but it’s not his ankle. I’m sure he will return to play with us after the international break. We have to give him time because it’s a very important season. Real Madrid doesn’t have time to wait for anybody, not even Hazard.”

Vinicius was content with his goal vs Valladolid.

After a difficult match in which Real Madrid won 1-0, goal-scorer Vinicius also gave his verdict: “I’m happy with our performance. Asensio and I were able to change the game a bit. What matter is that we won the game. We had time to practice, we didn’t play friendlies and that’s why we don’t control games so easily.”

The Brazilian youngster scored the winning goal during the second half after a ghastly mistake from the Valladolid defense. He also had the second goal near the end but he missed a clear chance in front of the goalkeeper.
