Zinedine Zidane has applauded Real Madrid for defending “very well” against Valencia in the La Liga outing on Sunday.
Karim Benzema opened the scoring in the first half, netting his 12th league goal of the campaign, and Toni Kroos added another in the second half to seal a convincing 2-0 win.
It marked a second successive clean sheet for Real Madrid, who have now avoided conceding a goal in 10 of their 23 matches in La Liga so far this season.

Real Madrid are now on a three-match winning streak in La Liga, and the manager wants his team to keep up their good form.
“We are going to continue doing what we are doing,” he added. “We are not going to look at what others are doing. Today we played a very good game.
“They all defended very well without the ball and when got forward we caused a lot of damage. We have to continue in this way.”
