The German star’s World Cup chances have increased significantly due to his incredible form this season.

Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest player to reach ten Bundesliga goals when he scored twice for Borussia Dortmund in their 3-0 win over Bochum on Saturday.

Moukoko opened the scoring for the Black and Yellows with a stunning shot from behind the box in the eighth minute.
The goal marked the German star’s tenth Bundesliga goal, which he scored at the age of 17 years and 350 days.

Dortmund then doubled their lead through another young star, Giovanni Reyna, four minutes later. The USMNT star converted a penalty for the Black and Yellows completing their fantastic start to the game.

Edin Terzic’s side kept the pressure on despite Bochum’s attempts to hurt them with counter-attacks. Moukoko then scored his 11th Bundesliga goal with another long-range stunner to make it 3-0 for the hosts.

He caught Bochum keeper Manuel Riemann well off his line before chipping the ball into the back of the net from 35 yards out.

Moukoko’s brilliant start to the season has convinced many observers that Hansi Flick should give him a spot in his Germany squad for the World Cup.

Following Timo Werner’s injury, adding a new young option to Germany’s attacking line could provide Die Mannschaft with more flexibility up front.
