The former Bayern Munich frontman scored twice for Barca in Sunday’s 4-0 victory over Real Valladolid.
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has praised ‘natural leader’ Robert Lewandowski, emphasizing other facets of his game beyond the goals.
For the second consecutive LaLiga match, Lewandowski bagged a brace and an assist to help Barca score four goals – this time in a 4-0 drubbing of Real Valladolid on Sunday at Camp Nou.

The prolific Pole’s goals were always going to be a valuable asset for the club after his €45 million summer arrival from Bayern Munich, but Xavi insists he is more than just a threat in the final third.
“Apart from the goals, I would highlight his timing. Everything that the fan does not see so much, is extraordinary,” the coach told DAZN about Lewandowski.
“He is a natural leader; what he sees he says. It’s wonderful how he has adapted to the group. He is a born worker, an example.”
Lewandowski will hope to keep his strong form going this Saturday when Barcelona visit Sevilla in LaLiga.
