Widespread speculation has tipped the Brazilian to reunite with his former Ajax boss Ten Hag at Old Trafford all summer.

Ajax winger Antony has not ruled out a move to Manchester United before the summer transfer window shuts.

According to various reports, Erik ten Hag wants to bring the 22-year-old to Old Trafford. United have followed suit on their new manager’s request by offering an alleged €60 million to Ajax, who demand €80 million for their prized asset.

Having already sold Lisandro Martinez to United, on top of losing Sebastien Haller to Borussia Dortmund and Ryan Gravenberch to Bayern Munich, Ajax are keen to not lose any more key players.

“Will Ten Hag call me? No idea,” Antony told NOS about the speculation over his future.

“He has to discuss this with my agents. I’m focused on here. What will come will come, we will see.”

He added: “I feel good at Ajax. I give everything for this club, every minute, so I am loving this city and this club.”

Schreuder expects to keep Antony

Antony scored his first goal of the season on Sunday to help Ajax cruise to a 6-1 win over Groningen in the Eredivisie.

The former Sao Paulo star, therefore, has now registered 23 goals and 21 assists in 81 games for the Dutch champions since his €15.75 million arrival in the summer of 2020.

“You can see that he can absolutely make the difference in these matches,” Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder said after the Groningen game.

“He also showed that in the Champions League last year. The way he makes his actions, but also does his job defensively.”

On the transfer speculation, Schreuder added: “I can’t do anything with that. I assume we’ll keep everyone.”
